Thomas D. Spitzenberger is a German director of photography based in Stuttgart West. He started his education as a photographer in 2003 and extended his abilities by studying audio-visual media design in 2008. He graduated in 2011 with an award winning shortfilm and was honored for his outstanding achievements. After his graduation Thomas D. Spitzenberger worked as Director of Photography, shooting commercials for STAUD STUDIOS. Becoming head of film in 2013 he was significantly involved in establishing the film department. In early 2015 he decided to leave the company to start his own business. He has been working throughout Germany and abroad ever since, including productions in Namibia, Thailand, England, Belgium, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Austria and Switzerland.
